💤 Not getting enough sleep?
🛏️ Going to bed at odd hours?
🍲 Skipping meals?
🚬 Frequently drinking and smoking?
😰 Feeling stressed & anxious?
If you answered the above questions with an affirmative, you might already be aware of the consequences - lack of energy, feeling lethargic and low, falling sick and feeling unwell. But there is also another consequence that you might not be paying attention to -
all of this is effecting your blood!
Our blood is like a messenger that is engaged in transporting oxygen, hormones, sugar, and more to the body. It helps with regulating our immune system, cleansing our body, skin complexion, and more. To fulfill this seamlessly, it’s extremely necessary to keep our blood clean and free from toxins.
As per Ayurveda, blood is known as 'Rakht Dhatu'and is known to be influenced by the pitta dosha that’s primarily made up of the fire element and recognized by its hot, rough, clear, flowing, and unstable qualities. When the Rakht Dhatu is healthy and pure, you’re bound to feel more energized and active. When the Rakht Dhatu is low or deficient, the body starts feeling cold and stiff and the mind starts losing focus. On the other hand, excess Rakht Dhatu leads to increased heat in the body and even inflammation.
